A small idea can make a big impact - that is why the BRAINS award annually hosts a competition for the most innovative, social or sustainable idea from Eindhoven. We're very proud to share the Design Academy Eindhoven students nominated for the BRAINS award 2016!
Tamara Orjola, Cox Janssen, Fraser McPhee and Raquel Pereira Silva are all selected for the TOP 20 to pitch their idea during the finale of the BRAINS award 2016 on May 25th. Congratulations!
The BRAINS award is founded by the town council of Eindhoven, who work together with the TU/e Innovation Lab. Eindhoven-based students - from TU/e, Fontys, Summa, SintLucas and Design Academy Eindhoven - can all participate by submitting their idea. The categories for the award are Sustainablilty, Innovation (DAE favourite with past winners Govert Flint and Roel Deden), Livability and Publics Choice, with a total of 7 prizes for bright minds with great ideas.
The finale of the BRAINS award 2016 is on May 25th at the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven. The TOP 20 students will present their idea in a short pitch, and both a jury of experts as well as the public can vote on their favorite. You can register to be present at the finale of the BRAINS award from May 1st, on their website, to attend the evening festivities and vote for the Publics Choice.
We would like to wish all contestants good luck and hope Raquel, Fraser, Cox and Tamara will be awarded!
