Monday February 2nd, David Hamers (lecturer City and Countryside) will give an introduction on the debate about the Eindhoven region. The debate is organised by Architectuurcentrum Eindhoven (Architecture centre Eindhoven) as part of the serial Attractive Eindhoven.
In his new year’s speech mayor Rob van Gijzel pleaded for a growth of Eindhoven population to 300.00 inhabitants. Also the proposed motorway on the east side of the city will not be created. What does this mean for the city and how are local politicians involved in these decisions? Do the current citizens have a role?
Join the debate with Wouter van Stiphout, professor Design & Politics , David Hamers and others.
