Always wanted to see a Fire Tornado in real life, or the biggest Pendulum Wave in the world? Can one make breakfast on a jet Engine? Watch how sand drawings are made and poetry is written on the floor with the incredible SKRYF installation by artist Gijs van Bon. But there is more: A huge space filled with art and science. A marvelous night. Just once, don’t miss it!
Lecture (20.00 hrs; language: Dutch)
Especially for this expo, David Hamers (a.o. Professor at Design Academy Eindhoven) will give a lecture on the relations between art, technology and design, focusing on the various guises of research in these domains. Hamers is going to show lots of images of current art, design and tech crossovers, and he will share some of his recent insights into how ideas are transposed and translated from one domain to the other.
