What: An ideal projection of a human’s invincible self, translated into a jewellery collection.

Why: As wearable technologies become more present in daily life, Loan Favan sees them as potential 'body extensions'. Based on the concept of transhumanism, she imagines accessories that transcend human nature. Each item represents a 'super-power' such as inexhaustible energy (working 24:7), limitless knowledge (robotic aspects), superhuman capabilities (breathing underwater, terminating enemies).

How: ‘Alliage – Cu29Zn30’ is made of brass, the main material of this sleek futuristic line. The pieces are shaped using a metal lathe, which gives the brass an industrial look. It is then assembled with transparent materials in a raw and minimalist aesthetic.
