VULVA VERSA

Why is the vagina still a taboo subject? Surrounded by images of manipulated perfection, we are led to believe that even vaginas should match some ideal when in reality, all vaginas are different. But since women do not usually see their own vulva every day, they have no honest way of comparing. Michèle Degen created her ‘VULVA VERSA’ mirror to help facilitate an informed dialogue. Fitting comfortably in your hand, the mirror literally offers a different perspective and eases any sense of shame or indecency. It allows women to discover themselves freely via an intimate exploration and appreciation.
