Body Behaviour

Olle Lundin’s magazine and video ‘Body Behaviour’ started from his own interest in queer theory. Curious to find out how he might apply the queer perspective in a design, he analysed a decade of high fashion photography. The models appear to project certain real sets of emotions and identities, something a reader might emulate or see as an inspiration, but upon closer inspection it becomes increasingly clear that these are fixed constructs that do not reflect any real situation. Lundin made this explicit by taking the postures and expressions out of their context and present them as an archive of signs and signifiers.
