In line with family traditions, Roald Sooijs started making his own alcoholic beverages as a teenager. Recently this hobby took a serious turn – to strong spirits, and especially to gin, a white spirit flavoured with juniper berries and other botanicals. As it is illegal to distill alcohol without a professional permit, he invented something that does the trick without breaking the law. ‘Ginly’ is a botanical vapour infuser that skips the distillation phase. It enriches any spirit with a crisp flavour of herbs, fruit or vegetables. Just fill the basket, pour in some vodka and hit the button to start the infusion. In less than an hour your gin is ready.
