Pickpockets aim for smartphones and cash – and most of their victims are women. Elsje Meijler designed a range of theft-proof bags that you don’t have to hide under your coat for protection. With a lining made of indestructible Dyneema, belongings inside are safe from knives and scissors. On the outside, a metal brace forms a strong safety barrier; by folding the handles underneath, the bag cannot be opened unnoticed while worn. The collection includes three models: a backpack, shoulder bag and small handbag. By wearing these with pride, you show that you’re not afraid of bag snatchers.
