The quality of Dutch tap water is exceptional. Regulations for tap water are stricter than those for bottled water. And yet, bottled water is a thousand times more expensive, plus, it has a negative effect on the environment. Maud van Deursen wants to make users aware of how special their tap water is. She has designed four carafes, whose shapes reflect the Dutch water towers used for storing clean drinking water. Each of them emphasizes the flow of water in a different way, allowing users to experience the movement of water while pouring.
