Identity Violence
Fashion is a force, inflicted on the body. Its symbolism and significance is more than just aesthetic; fashion is, before everything else, a way to communicate, a language that helps groups of people to claim their convictions and revolt against an authoritative power or a context of social injustice.
Fashion is politics. Fashion is humour. Fashion is engagement. Fashion is freedom. Fashion is everything you want and trust in. Fashion is not even visible. It is a way of thinking the body—
your way of thinking your body.
We have created many revolutions to gain independence for
our life and our body. What new change might be waiting?
My project is directed towards a new revolution.
