A series of individual lamps with which Philip Bogaerts illustrates night and day. The night lamp, made of acrylic and aluminium, spreads a soft blue light which creates a calm and serene atmosphere and will not blind you as you enter from a darkened room. A timer ensures that the lamp follows the cycle of the moon: the light will be brightest during full moon. The day lamp will give off more light as it gets darker and will dim when there is a great deal of sunshine. The lamps Day & Night use LED lights and will conserve energy. They show us how the natural cycle influences our daily lives.
