REDUCE THE WEIGHT OF THE SADDLE AND THE BRIDLE
Horsewoman Eefje Sandmann has taken a critical look at the
saddle and bridle in order to make them easier to transport from
the paddock to your home. A saddle will weigh about twelve kilos
and the shape does nothing to help transportation by bike or bus.
She has stripped the bridle of unnecessary elements, retaining
all the safety and comfort aspects for the horse and rider. Her
lightweight, beamless saddle made of PU-foam can be folded into
a manageable package that you can carry on your back. Fold in the
flaps, and the reins become the backpack’s shoulder straps.
In Backpack Saddle and Halter Bridle the bit and girth are
stored inside the seat,
as are the stirrups with LED lights that will act as bicycle lights
on your back.
